Cavendish (Joker) Balatro Wiki Fandom
Cavendish is one of the most powerful multiplicative Mult Jokers, providing an impressive x3 Mult to any hand played, with only a 1 in 1000 chance to get destroyed. In order for Cavendish to appear anywhere, Gros Michel must first have destroyed itself (not destroyed by any other joker/card or...

Decks
Cavendish works well with any deck, as it is essentially a free x3 multiplier with no downside. Realistically, it will never destroy itself in a run.
Poker Hands
Any hand can benefit from Cavendish, although a stronger hand with a higher starting Mult base works better.
Jokers
Blueprint and
Brainstorm can copy Cavendish for an easy x9 multiplier, though the latter does not let your other Jokers add Mult first.
Oops! All 6s will double the chance of Cavendish breaking- from a 1 in 1000 to 2 in 1000 or 1 in 500. However, given how low this chance is, it's extraordinarily unlikely to affect the outcome.
Trivia
- The disease-resistant Cavendish banana cultivar makes up the vast majority of bananas consumed around the world. It was introduced after the previous cultivar, the Gros Michel, was devastated by a fungal pandemic in the 1960s. A similar disaster could occur to wipe out the Cavendish bananas, but more care and preventative measures are in place to stop this from reoccurring. This is represented by the Joker's powerful bonus, the highly unlikely chance of self-destruction, and the requirement for
Gros Michel to first go extinct. - The waves of energy radiating from the banana in Cavendish's art may be a reference to how bananas are very faintly radioactive.

FAQs
Do you keep Jokers in Balatro?
Jokers are special cards at the core of Balatros gameplay. Instead of being included in Decks and played alongside standard cards Jokers are obtained through the Shop and occasionally other means and are held in the players dedicated joker slots until the player sells them or they are destroyed.
Who invented the game of roulette?
One of the most popular theories is that the game was invented by a French mathematician named Blaise Pascal in the 17th century. According to this theory Pascal was attempting to develop a perpetual motion machine when he inadvertently created the roulette wheel. While this story is widely circulated there is little concrete evidence to support it.
Does Showman stack Balatro?
FYI having the Showman joker lets you have cards reappear. Ive seen the All 6s card reappear in the shop but never had 2 copies in hand. Do having both stack in effect (i.e. 1-in-3 becomes 3-in-3 chance) or not? Yes itll double all probabilities twice.May 16 2024
