Plasma Deck: Due to the balancing feature, Square Joker can be very beneficial if picked up early and scaled adequately throughout the run.
Poker Hands
Four of a Kind, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, Pair, and High Card are all hands which can be played with four cards or fewer. Hands that require fewer than 4 cards can be padded with non-scoring cards to increase this Joker's Chips bonus.
Flushes, Straights, and Straight Flushes can synergize with this Joker if 
Four Fingers is also present.
Jokers
- Four Fingers: Allows Straights and Flushes to be made with only four cards.
Splash: Allows High Cards to score with all 4 cards, providing more bonus.
Spare Trousers: Requires Two Pairs hand to scale, which is exactly 4 cards.
Boss Blinds
In general, the only time Square Joker will not scale or score is when a hand is not allowed. Boss Blinds that can prevent specific hands are:
- The Eye: all hands must be a different type
- The Mouth: only 1 hand type can be played
- The Psychic: hand must have 5 cards
