Naturally, fans have wanted to see Elden Ring on Xbox Game Pass for quite a while now, and with the highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree DLC expansion dropping at the end of the month, there's never been a better time for Xbox to pull the trigger. According to the latest rumors, Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC could offer another 30+ hours of content, but that content won't come cheap, with the DLC retailing for $40. Having the base game available for no extra cost on Game Pass would definitely help to offset the loftier cost of the DLC.
Xbox Game Pass New Game for June 2024: Assassin's Creed Mirage
Close The Assassin's Creed series has always been a staple of Xbox Game Pass, with various entries coming and going since the service's launch back in 2017. Most recently, Ubisoft added Assassin's Creed Valhalla to Xbox Game Pass, the latest RPG entry in the franchise, but not the latest entry overall. Released back in October of last year, Assassin's Creed Mirage offers a smaller-scale experience that hearkens back to the series' more stealth-focused roots. Though it was far from perfect, many fans felt as though Assassin's Creed Mirage was a big step in the right direction, and it would be great to see it get more love via Game Pass.

Close One of the more overshadowed Indie games from 2022, Neon White is a first-person shooter with a platform-puzzler twist. Each level in Neon White will see players dash through an environment, picking up weapon and ability cards, and blasting demons away with them as quickly as possible. Back in June 2023, Neon White was announced to be coming to Xbox Game Pass, but for some unknown reason, it never arrived. But it's about time it did.

Close The breakout Indie hit of the year so far, Balatro is a deck-builder that sees players compete in poker-like games. This twist here, though, is that Balatro is also a roguelike, meaning that players can upgrade their deck after each run, and add various items to their cards that improve their chances. Though it's earned quite the following already, Balatro could still use an injection of mainstream popularity, and an Xbox Game Pass release could do just that.
