Brainstorm is a very powerful joker that copies the effect of the leftmost Joker you have. Unlike Blueprint moving Brainstorm around will not change what it copies only when it does so. To change the Joker that is being copied a different Joker will need to be moved to the leftmost position. There are some jokers that cannot be copied and putting Brainstorm itself in the leftmost position will cause it to do nothing. Brainstorms compatibility with other Jokers can be seen in its tooltip.

🃏 When copying chance-based Jokers like Space Joker the chance is rolled independently for each copy of that joker. This means if one Joker triggers the copies arent guaranteed to trigger at the same time.

Do you keep Jokers in Balatro?
Jokers are special cards at the core of Balatros gameplay. Instead of being included in Decks and played alongside standard cards Jokers are obtained through the Shop and occasionally other means and are held in the players dedicated joker slots until the player sells them or they are destroyed.
What are the different types of Jokers in Balatro?
Jokers have four different rarities denoting how likely they are to appear in a given run: Common Uncommon Rare and Legendary. In general higher rarity jokers can be more powerful but when a joker has no direct analogue of a higher rarity it can be difficult to determine if it is better.
How to unlock invisible Joker Balatro?
Unlock Requirement Win a game while never having more than 4 jokers. Invisible Joker is a rare Joker that can be sold after two rounds to duplicate a random Joker in the players inventory. The copied Joker will retain almost all the properties of the original including any scaling Edition and Stickers.
