The trailer for Suicide Squad ISEKAI introduces Harley Quinn and the rest of the squad’s adventures in a new world.
The report states that Rocksteady isn’t in any trouble with shutting down due to the poor reception and sales of the game. Employees were told they were understaffed, suggesting that job cuts were not in the foreseeable future. Rocksteady staff seemed to have moved on towards working on a director’s cut of Warner Bros’ single-player success Hogwarts Legacy, with studio leadership pitching a new single-player game “which would return Rocksteady to its roots.” Work on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will not stop, with the studio teasing the introduction of Mr Freeze to the game, however long-term support by Warner Bros still remains unclear.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The upcoming Suicide Squad Isekai anime series will be released in July 2024.
