What is Hyper Dash in WPT Global?Dive into Quick Thrilling Poker Action!
Hyper Dash is a tournament series of more action-packed poker, ideal for players who like a faster pace. Rather than sitting around and watching a long tournament unfold, these events start at predetermined times every hour (in UTC) and are over in moments.
How It Works
Scheduled Start Times
Every tournament starts at the same hour in UTC (0:40, 1:40, 2:40, etc.), which means you can schedule ahead and dive into a game whenever you're ready.
Buy-In & Prize Pool
Each event comes with a specified buy-in and a guaranteed (GTD) prize pool. For example, one tournament may have an $88 buy-in and a $1,250 GTD, while another might be as low as $1.10 for a $150 prize pool. No matter how many players enter, the prize pool will never be less than the stated amount.
How to Join
Get Registered
You must have a WPT Global account and be fully verified — including completing KYC.
Deposit & Choose Your Game
Load up your account and head to the tournament section in the app. Choose the Hyper Dash tournament that matches your bankroll — whether you're going for a low buy-in, low-key game or you're ready to face higher stakes.
Pay the Buy-In
Once you select a tournament, the system automatically charges the buy-in from your account. That’s your pass to join the action!
Gameplay & Strategy
Quick Rounds
The tournaments are short and sweet, so every decision counts. You’ll need to play fast and smart, making quick decisions under pressure.
Skill Meets Luck
While poker is generally all about strategy, these quick-fire events add a twist. You have to outmaneuver your opponents in a limited time frame, so expect both bold plays and calculated gambits.
Adjust Your Game
With a variety of tournaments featuring different buy-in levels, pick the one that best suits your style. Low buy-in games are perfect for honing your skills and keeping the tension low, while high buy-in games offer larger potential payoffs but come with more pressure.
